Boy making film with camera

In Seen and Heard, we shared our ideas with grown-ups who have different professions and together we discussed human rights, especially freedom of expression.

We didn’t just discuss! We drew, wrote, composed, filmed, edited, and interviewed various people while also growing in our role as active citizens.

Here you can see some of our work, which we hope you will enjoy and take seriously.

The Importance of Being Seen and Heard are collective short films made by us, the Seen and Heard participants. We explain why we need to be seen and heard in all the areas of life that affect us; at home, at school, in our communities. We want to remind you that it is really important for our wellbeing and the wellbeing of our societies that we feel acknowledged, respected, and heard.
