By Kids for Kids
In Seen and Heard, we shared our ideas with grown-ups who have different professions and together we discussed human rights, especially freedom of expression.
We didn’t just discuss! We drew, wrote, composed, filmed, edited, and interviewed various people while also growing in our role as active citizens.
Here you can see some of our work, which we hope you will enjoy and take seriously.
Meet the Teams and see their Work
The Importance of Being Seen and Heard are collective short films made by us, the Seen and Heard participants. We explain why we need to be seen and heard in all the areas of life that affect us; at home, at school, in our communities. We want to remind you that it is really important for our wellbeing and the wellbeing of our societies that we feel acknowledged, respected, and heard.

Creative Protest Films
Across three countries and three schools, we used film to explore the things that are most important to us.
Our Drawings
With young people from over 50 nationalities taking part, speaking in English is tiring. Many of us prefer to draw to help us understand each other.
Animated poems
Many of us explored and expressed our needs, wishes, hopes and criticism through poetry.
Questioning grown-ups
In Malta, Wroclaw and Berlin we asked grown-ups questions about our opportunities in society and how we can be more active citizens as we grow up.
